Mastering Drawing From Life

This structured course teaches students to see and draw the world around them with greater accuracy and awareness. Through five key ways of seeing, students learn to observe proportion, shape, space, relationships, and detail while developing strong drawing-from-life skills. Progressive exercises move from focused observational studies to more complex projects, including hand studies, drawing from the studio environment, and a finished self-portrait. With guided instruction and personalized feedback, students strengthen technical skills, visual awareness, and confidence while learning to trust what they see. 

No previous drawing experience is required. This course is ideal for teens (13+) and adults and allows students to develop their skills at their own pace. Required studio materials are provided for use during class.
