Learn to Draw & Journal: The Fundamentals for Adults & Homeschoolers

Discover your ability to draw through Aliki's proven 7-Step System, designed to make drawing accessible through clear, progressive instruction. Beginning with the visual vocabulary of lines and shapes, you'll learn how artists see and break complex subjects into manageable parts. Explore realistic drawing, abstraction, shading, composition, and the relationship between line, shape, and value while working primarily with pencil and ink, with an introduction to colour. Each project builds on the last, developing practical skills, creative confidence, and the independence to continue drawing beyond the studio. No previous drawing experience is required. Required studio materials are provided for use during class, along with a personal sketchbook to practise techniques, develop ideas, and document your artistic growth.
