Drawing Fundamentals 3: Advanced Skills (Thurs)

Designed for students with a strong drawing foundation, this advanced course builds technical skills while encouraging greater artistic independence. Through progressive, guided projects, students explore perspective, advanced shading, tonal drawing, composition, and a wider range of drawing tools and techniques. They are challenged to make thoughtful artistic decisions, and develop their own creative style. With personalized instruction and constructive feedback, students refine their technical abilities while gaining the confidence to create more expressive, detailed, and original artwork. Each student receives a personal sketchbook to use throughout the course. Required studio materials are provided for use during class. Artwork is completed over the year, creating a portfolio that reflects each student's artistic growth and creativity. Pre-requisite: Best suited for students with two or more years of Aliki's weekly art classes. Students with previous drawing experience are also welcome; a brief consultation is recommended before registration.

• 36 classes (No classes on December 24 & 31, 2026, and March 25, 2027)
