If you are a general education teacher that would like to gain drawing confidence and you are interested in incorporating art into your classroom curriculum, we have a program designed for both you and your students.
You will be introduced to a revolutionary instructional drawing program that has taught hundreds of children and educators the skill of drawing over the last two decades.

Convinced that drawing was in fact a ‘teachable’ subject and a structured ‘method’ could be established in much the same way as had been done in music and writing, Aliki created what is now know as Aliki’s 7-Step System.

Aliki will come into your classroom and teach each drawing lesson for you, then supply you with detailed lesson plans to use in your future art classes. As well, you will have one full year of phone/email access to new ideas from Aliki who will assist you in continuing to teach fabulous drawing lessons!

Cost: $75. per hour of instruction.
Minimum 2 hours per week, per class.
Each weekly lesson can be individually tailored to your needs. For best results, we recommend a 6 week commitment.

If you have a small class, we can accommodate you and your students in our studio. Max. 20 students. Cost: $75. Per hour of instruction.

Administrators, give your staff the gift of learning how to draw, how to journal and how to teach their students art at a higher level. A series of workshops gives teachers the confidence they need. An excellent long-term investment!
Cost: $125. per teacher for a 6 hour, full day workshop.
Supplies for drawing workshops are included in fee. Journal workshops require a $25 material fee.

1. Learn How to Draw In A Day!

This in depth workshop teaches all stages---from the most intimidated to the seasoned artist. Aliki’s 7-Step System*will teach you how to draw realistically in only one day.

2. Learn How to Journal

Professional Development

Create a Gem Journal. This workshop teaches you how to begin your personal gem journal in order to be able to teach the methodology to your students. A fun, hands-on workshop.

3. Teach Your Students How to Draw

This workshop gives you specific techniques on how to teach your students the skill of drawing. Never be intimidated about teaching art class again! (Prerequisite: Workshop 1)

4. Teach Your Students How to Journal

Now that you know the usefulness of journals, pass this gift on to your students.
(Prerequisite: Workshop 1)

5. Integrating Art and Curriculum Through Journaling.

A wonderful culmination of all workshops. Learn how to teach all subject areas through gem journaling. An exciting way to reach students and a new approach to put the zest back into teaching for you.
(Prerequisite: Workshops 1 and 2)

6. Getting Ideas

A practical, hands-on workshop adventure that teaches you how to create your own ideas. No need to depend on worksheets any longer. This workshop teaches you how to teach creatively and enjoy the process.
