Private Art Lessons

Aliki's Art House offers private one-on-one art lessons. Each student will be supplied with materials needed, and taught the foundational skill of drawing using a sequential 7-step system that makes drawing fun and easy. In a few short lessons, your child will confidently say, "I Can Draw!"

One-on-one lessons are perfect for busy moms as the lesson day and time is arranged around your schedule. These classes are also great for children who flourish with individual attention. Lessons can be short term or long term. Some parents enjoy having their children learn something new during school break times such as spring, Easter, Christmas or P.D. days. Homeschoolers are welcome.

Learning how to draw is recommended for all students, not just those who are perceived as 'talented'. Drawing specifically helps with focus, hand-eye coordination, math skills, self-esteem, creative writing, handwriting, problem solving and gives children an overall sense of well-being. Creating art is highly therapeutic both physically and emotionally. This non-intimidating atmosphere can also be beneficial for students whose parents may be interested in a counselling via art component. Excellent class for teens!
